Strawberry Cheesecake

Ingredients
SERVINGS 1- 125g of Queal Steady Limited Edition Subtle Strawberry Cheesecake
- 125g digestive cookies
- 100g unsalted butter
- 500g quark + 100g whipped cream or 600g cream cheese
- 200g white bastard sugar
- 125g sour cream
- 3 eggs
- 1 stick of vanilla or 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- 1 lemon
- 250g (frozen) strawberries
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 150 degrees C and cover a spring form (of about 24 cm) with baking paper.
- Grind the digestive biscuits in a food processor.
- Melt the butter on a low heat fire.
- Mix the Queal, digestive cookies, and butter.
- Divide the mixture over the bottom of the spring form and press it well with the back of a spoon.
- Put the bottom in the oven for about 10 minutes and let it cool down afterwards.
- Mix together the whipped cream (whip this first), quark, sugar, sour cream, eggs, vanilla, and the juice and rasp of the lemon.
- Verdeel het mengsel over de bodem.
- Bake the cheesecake in about 50 minutes until golden brown and cooked in the oven.
- Let it cool down for a while (in the fridge).
- Cut the strawberries in pieces and add them to the top of the cake.
