Bombastic Banana Ginger Smoothie

Ingredients

SERVINGS 1
  • 140g Queal Steady Banana Mania Vegan (or Standard)
  • 1 banana (frozen overnight)
  • 1 tsp (2g) freshly grated ginger
  • 300ml cold water

Optional

  • 1 tsp (2g) of cacao powder
  • handful ice cubes

Preparation

  1. Freeze a very ripe banana overnight (best to pre-peel&chop it). For easy mixing, let it sit outside the fridge for 30 minutes before mixing.
  2. Chop or grate some ginger. About 2g will give a nice touch of flavour, but you can add more if you want to.
  3. In a large bowl or blender, mix together the Queal, banana, ginger, and water. You can use either a blender or hand blender.
  4. Optional: Make it a Chocolate Banana Ginger Smoothie by adding a teaspoon of cacao powder, and replacing half of the Queal with Cool Chocolate.
  5. Enjoy!
